Starrgirl: The Complete First Season
STARGIRL!! A name that strikes fea - oh wait, that's someone
else!! I've never heard of Stargirl, never heard any of the
main cast except for Luke Wilson and Henry Thomas[voice only],
and am holding my breath to see what this show is all about!!!
This is a total re-write of the Justice Society Of America
lore! Being a big fan of that group, I'm not sure if I'm
going to be liking this!
This first season is all about the Injustice Society Of
America! Really starts to drag after about 6 episodes!
EPISODES 1: PILOT(May 18, 2020):
(AKA: STARGIRL)
So, I HAVE heard of StarMAN, and apparently his former
side-kick has gotten married and has a step-daughter!
And SHE'S the one who becomes StarGIRL!!!
As for this episode, it starts out with the decimation of the
JSA(Justice Society Of America for those of you not old enough
to remember this great group of heroes!!)! This portion of the
episode must have really blown their budget all to - well, you
know!
This shows how the girl(Courtney) came by the staff of Ra - em,
no, The Cosmic Staff and thus starts her on her way to be
Stargril! B+
This leads into the next episode!!
EPISODE 2: S.T.R.I.P.E.(May 25, 2020):
A continuation from the previous episode!
So with Courtney now Stargirl, her stepfather decides to
finish his robot and together(kinda) they go after Brainwave!! B+
EPISODE 3: ICICLE(June 01, 2020):
This one's about another one of the Injustice Society, Icicle!
He promptly decides to kill one of his own ISA member's son!
Thinking it will give him motivation! Hmmmm! This is where
Courtney decides to start a new Justice Society!! B
EPISODE 4: WILDCAT(JUNE 08, 2020):
Courtney starts her search for members for her new JSA! A
EPISODE 5: HOURMAN AND DR. MID-NITE(June 15, 2020):
Continuing the recruiting of the new JSA team, Coutney goes
after a guy for Hourman, and a girl finds the outfit for
Dr. Midnight!! And Brainwaves son is starting to show signs
that he has the same powers as his dad! A
EPISODE 6: THE JUSTIC SOCIETY(June 22, 2020):
The team takes on several of the ISA and the results are not
exactly stellar!!! A
EPISODE 7: SHIV PART ONE(June 29, 2020):
So Courtney starts to get close to the meanest girl in school
not realizing that she's the "daughter" of one of the ISA! B
EPISODE 8: SHIV PART TWO(July 06, 2020):
Welp, Courtney and Co. knows Cindy's secrets, and vice-versa!
This makes it tough going fighting the ISA!! B
EPISODE 9: BRAINWAVE(June 12, 2020):
So Brainwave 2 is just finding out his powers and about his
father!!! At this point I really believe that this should
have been touted as a story of Justice Society Jr.! B
EPISODE 10: BRAINWAVE JR.(June 20, 2020):
Barbara finds out about the staff and Courtney and has a shit
fit! Decides she's taking Courtney and leaving town! Henry
goes to Courtney and tells her what he found out about the
ISA and together they try to straighten things out!! B
EPISODE 11: SHINING KNIGHT(July 27, 2020):
Courtney's real father show up which opens up a whole new
can of worms!! B
EPISODE 12: STARS AND S.T.R.I.P.E. PART 1(Aug. 03, 2020):
After an attack on their house by Tigress and an attack at
Pat's garage by Sportsman, Pat, Courtney, Mike, Rick, Beth,
Cindy, Barbara and Justin head out to the camping grounds to
regroup!! Of course the ISA are making plans to to eliminate
all of them!! B
EPISODE 13: STARS AND S.T.R.I.P.E. PART 1(Aug. 10, 2020):
Continued from previous episode(actually, they all are!!)!!
Welp, it looks like there's a showdown coming, and it don't
look good for the home team!! B

I had low expectations for this knowing it was teen based and
thought it might be to childish but the cast was perfect! The
action was decent just the right amount of cheesy humour and a
pretty good storyline to boot! The DC Universe has itself another
