The picture is surprisingly clean and even has closed captions!!
Also, this is quite short at just over an hour long!!
This was made before the code came into play and as such took
several liberties, such as plot line scantally clad, women etc.!
A pretty simple tale: A woman has a gambling problem and gets
herself into dept to a casino in the amount of $10,000! She
becomes more and more desperate for money and, well, watch the
movie! B

And yes, I know that "overlength" is a strange word for
a 70-minute movie, but in this case it's true: the running
time should have been about 30 minutes. As it is, the first
half of "The Cheat" is pretty boring, though the branding
sequence IS pretty steamy (no pun intended), and the whole
film is well-directed and acted (even if the husband's character
