WILD THINGS SET PAGE

The first four Wild Things movies. There
are a few things that tie all of these together:
They are all based in the same town! They all
have more twists and turns than most any other
movie! And they all have the same basis behind
them - greed/revenge!! The music is almost identical
in all four! And they all have two girls as the
main focus of the movies! Oh, and there are no
good guys!!

WILD THINGS(1998)

First, this is not Gone With The Wind! This is a
movie that is not deep, but it does have two
things going for it! One, and top-most, it has
some absolutely great actors in it: Robert Wagner,
Bill Murray, Kevin Bacon and Matt Dillon are all
quite good in this! The girls are not hard to look
at either! Second, this really does have more
twists and turns than most any other movie I've
ever seen! That alone made it a pretty good
movie! And to get the whole story, make sure to
watch clear to the end!!

And of course there's the nudity, both female
and male! B+

From IMDb.com:

Yes, it's lurid. Yes, it's trashy. Yes, it doesn't stand
up to close scrutiny. And yes, if you're the sort of
person who specialises in spotting plot twists, then
you're probably going to do well here.

But if you haven't seen this film before, and you're
prepared for something a bit on the lurid and trashy
side, and you can manage to steer clear of the many
spoilers among the reviews here, then you just might
find that Wild Things is a fun ride.

Because there are, it's true, a number of twists and
turns, and not everyone sees them coming. And if
you aren't a twist-spotter, but you enjoy movies
with twists, then you are going to enjoy this one.

I thought it was great fun. And, let's be fair, who's
watching Denise Richards' acting? - Neil Welch

WILD THINGS 2(2004):

Pretty much the same thing, all over again!! Minus
the name actors! There is no one here anyone ever
heard of! Unfortunately, the plot is almost an exact
repeat from the first movie! So while there are twists
and turns, they are less of a surprise than in the first
movie! However, it still is a pretty decent mystery,
with the girls again being quite attractive!

Yep, and more nudity!! B-

From IMDb.com:

WILD THINGS 2 (2004)

Starring: Susan Ward, Leila Arcieri, Isaiah Washington.

plot: When rich teen Brittney Havers' (Susan Ward)
step-father dies, she is the heir to the family fortune,
until trailer-trash Maya King (Leila Arcieri) claims
that she is the daughter of the dead man, while yet
another detective (Isaiah Washington) smells
something fishy.

the good: This sequel is only saved by Susan Ward's
performance as Brittney and the twist at the end,
I never saw that coming!

the bad: Basically a rip off of the first, a rich teen
and a trashy teen go against each other for millions
of bucks, but a detective discovers that they are
working together, and some other guy is involved,
and they all have a threesome. Boring! I knew every
twist until the final 5 minutes and it destroyed the
movie for me. - btrocksyoursocks

WILD THINGS 3:
DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH(2005):

This, while at this point not as much of a surprise
about the twists and turns as the first two movies,
still has enough of them to make it interesting!
And they have found two more girls that are just
as attractive as in the first two movies!

Again, as with the first two Wild Things, there
is a scene of a menage-a-toi, two girls and
a dude! B-

From IMDb.com:
This is the perfect movie to watch after a hard
day at work, when you just want to give your
brain a rest and indulge in some trashy entertainment.
I was especially impressed, considering how much I
hated the second film. I bought the "Wild Things" box
set, which has all three of the films, so it's good to
know that two out of three of the films are worth
watching. Sure, this ain't exactly Shakespeare, but
it's intriguing and fun. I was glued to the screen
from start to finish. Unlike the second entry in the
series, the acting is pretty good for direct-to-video
standards. It's not much better than the acting you'd
see on an afternoon soap, but it works, being that
the "Wild Things" films are kind of like soap operas.
Like in the other two films, there are tons of plot
twists and over the end credits, we watch tiny scenes
that explain how these twists occurred. And of course,
we have to have the good ol' threesome scene. It's
great to watch, being that the two lead actresses
are very gorgeous and their lesbian scenes are pretty
hot--not like in some other films where the girls
kiss with their lips barely touching each other.
Some of the plot twists are downright ridiculous,
but that didn't ruin the film for me. Like I said,
it's almost like a soap opera. You're just watching
to be intrigued and to keep guessing what will
happen next. And what can I say? It's one hell of
a ride. - guyfromjerzee

WILD THINGS 4:
FOURSOME(2010):

Still in Florida! More revenge, more dudes and
dudettes, more twists, more turns, more faux
sex, one semi-known actor and a cop or two!
And of course set ups and blackmail! Oh, and
bad acting! B-

From IMDb.com:

Let's face it. The "Wild Things" films are never
going to be confused with serious, art house cinema.
They are lots of fun to watch though and if you are
in a mood for escapist fare, they fit the bill just
fine. The latest entry "Wild Things: Foursome" follows
the formula of drop dead gorgeous women, eroticism,
double crossing, slick production, and moody music.
I rather liked this entry. The performances are
pretty good, especially by veteran actor John
Schneider, and I got a kick out of the multiple
twists in the plot. The Florida location is also
put to good use. It's not surprising that all of
the "Wild Things" movies have been shot there. It
will be interesting to see if they come up with
a fifth film. Recommended. - marquisderon
